Verify before you install.
Official installers use SHA-256 integrity checks and OpenPGP signatures. Confirm that both values match the exact file before opening any installer.
Verification detailsAccount association risks
- • Sending to an EVM (0x) address when only the Bech32 (sei1) side is associated may result in delayed visibility.
- • Always verify the destination address format matches the transfer type.
- • Review association status on the address panel before broadcasting transactions involving both formats.
What Sei Wallet never does
- • Ask for your recovery phrase on a website.
- • Open a popup asking you to “re-validate” or “restore”.
- • Move funds without an explicit on-device signature.
- • Send unsolicited DMs requesting wallet support.
